Updating my navman
Navdesk says there is no update available and the 'New Update' button is greyed out. On bootup it says: USB software dr iver was not installed ... Apparently Nav Desk can't communicate with your GPS if you have Acronis true image installed.I have tried contacting their support email address, got a couple of more detailed replies but it still doesn't work. I know, it sounded silly to me as well but I have just uninstalled true image and everything is updating nicely now.You still want the convenience of your trusty PND, so you’ll need to add a new map of the location you’re travelling to.With many countries and regions to choose from you’ll never be lost again.) Anyone else have any issues with doing the update? I follow their directions plug in my My60T Navman, switch it on, start the latest Navdesk software (on my PC) and then nothing. Yeah, I know when it is working nav Desk starts automatically the moment you plug in.nate: I've got a Navman MY75T and received an email about new maps being available. The GPS suggests it is plugged into a computer though so maybe a driver issue?I can't get the software to update my unit (I'm not using a Navman USB cable, would this be the issue? This issue only started when I installed the latest s/w update... If you are prompted to perform a software update in a pop-up window, please follow the steps below: a) Select ~Download' in the pop-up windows b) Select ~Ok' c) Accept the terms and conditions and then select ~Next' d) Select ~Install'.The software will then begin to install e) Select ~Next'. The Safety cameras have now been loaded onto your unit.Have been trying for the last 2 hours but can't get my GPS to connect to the nav Desk software. I have determined that it appears to be a USB software driver problem.I had this same problem when I bought some maps of Europe last year, not sure what I did then but I did get it to work. When I try and do a manual search of eveywhere for a matching driver, it says the driver is already installed. Right fixed my error after spending a fair while on google.
